There are all kinds of experiences you have in your childhood that shape who you become. And one of the most defining factors of those experiences is how you interact with your family members.
They are the ones who initially teach you the concept of community, and the way they treat you often determines how you see the world. That’s especially true if the only family members you had to interact with were adults because you were an only child — which some consider to be a lucky circumstance and others, not so much.
Either way, only children definitely have a different experience growing up since they don’t have the built-in playmates that families with multiple siblings have. And, as a result, they have some pretty hilarious stories and quips about growing up that are unique to the only-child experience. Whether you grew up with siblings or not, these only-child perspectives are totally relatable and genuinely entertaining.
