Thanks to reruns and streaming services, our favorite TV shows and movies are easily accessible. Some of the leading characters are still getting top bill in Hollywood today, but what about their younger castmates?

The babies and young kids that appeared alongside the likes of John Travolta and the cast of “Friends” might not be household names, but we want to know what happened to them — right? Did they catch the acting bug while they were still in diapers, or have they turned their back on the spotlight in favor of a more regular life?

She’s best known as a director (she got an Oscar nomination for Best Director for “Lost in Translation”), but Sofia Coppola has appeared in many hit movies. She actually played three different characters in “The Godfather” franchise (which was directed by her dad, Francis Ford Coppola), the first of which was a baby boy in the first instalment.

The younger son of Connie Corleone and Carlo Rizzi and younger brother of Victor Rizzi, Michael was named after his uncle and godfather, Michael Corleone. He was called “Little Mike” by his family to distinguish between him and his uncle, and he chose not to go into the family business.

Young Toby followed in his dad’s footsteps and now works as a special effects designer, puppeteer, filmmaker and performer. The projects he’s worked on include “BoxTrolls,” “ParaNorman,” and “Kubo and the Two Strings.”

He was the naked baby reaching for a dollar bill in a pool on the cover of “Nevermind,” Nirvana’s iconic 1991 album. According to NPR, Elden’s parents were paid $200 for the shoot. In August 2021, the now 30-year-old announced that he was suing the band members for sexual exploitation.

Adam Szalinski was the wide-eyed toddler in Disney’s 1992 film, “Honey, I Blew Up the Kid” (the sequel to the 1989 hit “Honey, I Shrunk the Kids”). He was played by twins Daniel and Joshua Shalikar, who now work in marketing and web design.

According to Entertainment Weekly, casting director Renee Rousselot searched over 1,000 small children for the right ones to play Adam. On set, one twin would act in the morning while the other was eating lunch or napping.
