Betty White was pretty, funny and big-hearted too. She was a lifelong animal rights activist, and every zoo in the U.S. knew it.
The Wildlife Learning Center in Sylmar, California, named one baby porcupine Betty White in appreciation of her generous donations, allowing her to name the second.
She named it Allen, after her late husband. The pair of porcupines went on to have several litters of baby porcupines themselves.
